Recent weeks have seen the arrival of many armed soldiers of fortune from far and wide. One might encounter warbands with names such as, [list the names of warbands in your campaign]. Caution is advised when interacting with such warriors. Many don’t seem to grasp which is the business end of the weapons they carry.
Even after most of the fires have been extinguished, citizens be warned of entering Mordheim! Until deemed safe, the wise will avoid the dangers of collapsing ruins and marauding miscreants over returning to our once proud city in order to recover one’s valuables. The leaders of Sigmar’s Haven and Brigandsburg promise to do so in your stead… aaahhh, more precisely, promise to let you know when they’re done deeming it safe to do so. Yes, that’s it. Safe.…Nice of them.
The Bastardly Bandits have been highly active since the Doom. Luckily, they are rather laughable at their chosen profession, always fleeing when directly confronted. However, the bluster of their “chief”, Haug, clearly works on new arrivals who are unfamiliar with how spineless the outlaws truly are. Spread the word, Haug is a horrible leader, and the Bastardly Bandits should be ridiculed not feared.
The Doom devastated the poor quarter of Mordheim and its residents are now searching for a permanent home. “Everyone turns their backs on us. We’re being thrown to the wolves, we are!”,” says beggar Jocelin Juckendachsel. “We might be a bit filthy looking, cause this strange comet soot has yet to come off, but by all the flees in my ‘air, that’s no reason to deny a desperate soul a night’s sleep outside your window now is it?! We’ll just have to make our own windows to sleep outside of.”
