Against All Odds
Description: Whenever a warband wins the Ambuscade scenario as the defender they earn this reputation. Word quickly spreads of the warband’s staunch bravery and fortitude under calamitous circumstances, raising the esteem of the warband in the eyes of anyone looking for a gang to see a mission through to the very end.
Reputation Value: The value of the Against All Odds reputation begins at 1 and increases by 1 each time the warband successfully wins an ambuscade as defender. Conversely, should the warband ever loose as defender the reputation’s value decreases by 1.
Termination: Should the value of the Against All Odds drop to 0 the reputation is lost.
Forbidding Fortuity
Description: Mordheim citizens have been disappearing (never to be heard of again) after rubbing shoulders with your warband. While the number of missing people is not great, it has been enough to spread gossip that associating with you is bad luck. Unbeknownst to everyone, your warband’s hired sword, Morghul “the Bugbear”, is a Scorpion Cultist who has been sizing up victims for the cult’s rituals from the people your warband meets and deals with. He later reports back to the cult of his findings or kidnaps the victims himself.
Reputation Value: -1
Termination: By making a generous donation of 100 GC to the Cult of Sigmar, the priests publicly exorcise your warband of any evil spirits or hexes that “plague” you, satisfying citizens that you are no longer a threat.
Description: During the Mordheim Gauntlet Championship one of your warriors became a fan favourite through their mockery and derision of opponents while brazenly leaving themselves open to attack. Dubbed, The Harlequin, the warrior’s infectious bluster and bravado latches the public’s admiration onto the warband the warrior serves.
The Harlequin
Reputation Value: 1
Termination: Should the Harlequin ever die or leave the warband, the reputation is lost. Also, if the warband earns the Mitterfruhl Reputation, the public loose interest in the harlequin and this reputation is lost.
Law & Order
Description: Warbands possessing the flag of Mordheim’s former watchmen, the Ravenwatch Banner, earn this reputation. The emblem invokes trust in Mordheimers trying to cling to any sense of normality from their former lives. During scenarios the banner can be equipped by a hero and functions as the miscellaneous equipment: banner. If not equipped, the Ravenwatch Banner must be transported as a carried item.
Reputation Value: 1
Termination: This reputation is dependent upon the possession of the Ravenwatch Banner. Should the warband loose the banner or gift it to a settlement, they loose the reputation.
Max Mayhem Warband
Description: At the start of campaign chapter 2 and every turn thereafter, the warband with most Mayhem Victory Points (MVPs) earns the Max Mayhem Warband reputation if they have a significant amount of wyrdstone in their treasury. Warriors are riding high on their recent successes and are the talk of the region for the next week as they seem to be the wealthiest (or at least most notable) warband of the moment.
The warband must have the most MVPs. Should two or more warbands tie for the greatest number of MVPs no warband earns the reputation (there can be only one). Also, the warband must possess at least as many wyrdstone shards in their treasury as half the current campaign turn, rounded up. For example, on turn 5 a warband must have at least 3 wyrdstone shards in their treasury. If both of these requirements are fulfilled, the warband gains the reputation and is informed of this by the campaign administrator who always awards it.
Reputation Value: 1
Termination: Whenever a warband does not fulfil the requirements.
Murine Manumitter
Description: Your warband has exposed the scheme of Steverdores Guildmaster Barno Greinbach to fake the death and resurrection of a hamster.
Reputation Value: 1
Termination: This minor bout of fame passes by rather quickly. The reputation only lasts for one chapter and then terminates.
